The Newcastle 500 V8 Supercars will be the largest sporting event in Newcastle this decade. An unprecedented opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ!
Gideons in Newcastle will be replacing existing Bibles in every hotel, motel and accommodation site during the first week of November in anticipation of the V8 Supercars championship. Gideons will place copies of the Word of God on behalf of the churches who donate the funds to print and purchase them. The delivery and placement is done free by Christian men and women who are members of Gideons International in Australia.
Would you like to work alongside members and be involved in the replacing of the bibles as they go to accommodation sites, engage with staff and assist with removing old bibles?
Or come along and participate in the street and park witnessing program! The next training session is SATURDAY 4th November, 2pm at WARNERS BAY UNITING CHURCH, 362 Hillsborough Rd, Warners Bay.
You can then also participate in one or more of the weekend witnessing opportunities, and hand out new testament bibles to people you will meet.
We will meet at 2pm every Saturday and Sunday afternoon during November. Meet us at Lee Wharf, Honeysuckle Drive, Newcastle foreshore, or at Warners Bay foreshore, The Esplanade (opposite the shops).
