Walk, Run, Save Lives: Destiny Rescue’s Tread On Trafficking
At Rhema FM, we believe in using our platform to make a real difference in the world. That’s why we’ve partnered with Destiny Rescue to support their mission of rescuing children from human trafficking. The Tread On Trafficking campaign is one of the many ways Destiny Rescue fights this global issue, and we’re inviting YOU to join us in making an impact.
This is why on the 27th of September, Aaron and Chloe are kicking things off with an outdoor broadcast from the treadmills at Our Gym, Nelson Bay!
The Need is Urgent
Human trafficking affects over 1 million children worldwide each year. These children are exploited, abused, and stripped of their freedom. But with the help of Destiny Rescue, many of them are being rescued and given a new chance at life. Since its founding, Destiny Rescue has rescued over 12,000 individuals from human trafficking across multiple countries. Their work includes not only rescue operations but also rehabilitation, reintegration, and advocacy to break the cycle of exploitation.
Tread On Trafficking: October 25th–27th
In partnership with Destiny Rescue, we’re excited to promote the Tread On Trafficking campaign, taking place from October 25th to 27th. This campaign invites people across Australia to walk, run, or jog in support of those trapped in human trafficking. Whether you’re at home on a treadmill, joining a local park run, or gathering with friends, every step you take helps raise funds and awareness for this life-saving cause.

To kick things off, Aaron and Chloe from The Fresh Start will be broadcasting live from Our Gym in Nelson Bay on Friday, September 27th. They’ll be walking on treadmills while sharing stories of hope and the critical work being done by Destiny Rescue. This special live event is a chance for our listeners to learn more about the Tread On Trafficking campaign, show support, and get involved in this vital cause.
